I wouldn't stay at the bridal tea house again, it's a long way from the main part of the city, the surroundings are dirty, the rooms are tiny to the
point where there is not room to put any luggage particularly when there are two people.

I stayed there on my way to Europe and then on the way back, the first time breakfast was very nice and there were lots of choices. The second time the breakfast room had changed location and there was no choice for a western type of breakfast. In 6 weeks the standard had dropped
dramatically.

However the staff were friendly and helpful so I have a mixed reaction to
my stay there.

Location being 2 mins from Yau Ma Tei MTR station or buses on Nathan Rd just behind the hotel or a taxi rank 1 minute away from the front door makes easy access to anywhere in HK.
The rooms are neat & clean but built for very small people. I'm not tall at 178cm but my feet were hanging over the end of the bed. The bathroom is extremely compact & I would have struggled if I were reasonably obese, but it is adequate & clean.
I would not recommend it for larger or taller people but as a place in Kowloon to sleep & shower while you tour HK days & evenings it's okay.
Value for money? I've stayed in slightly more spacious hostel accomm in very central locations on HK island for less & would probabaly go back there again next time.
We thought we were going slightly upmarket when we booked this but were disappointed, mainly because it was just a bit too compact for us. We only went for the HK7's weekend, fortunately with very small bags because luggage space is at a premium.
The walls are very thin & I hope my snoring didn't keep our neighbours awake like their TV & laughter kept us awake on the first night.
The little night market around the corner is a bonus!
All in all it was acceptable because it was neat, clean & in a great location. I just would have liked the rooms to have been marginally bigger.
Great for smaller people on a budget!
