We transferred to this hotel after landing in a squalid hostel the night before. For the same price we had a beautiful room with ensuite at the back of the hotel which was very quiet for somewhere right on La Ramblas. It had a great view and was only a few steps from the Metro. It is a great base for anyone wanting to explore Barcelona on foot, surrounded by good restaurants and only a few minutes walk to the market. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel Monegal is set in the heart of the city of Barcelona, adjacent to Plaza Cataluña and Las Ramblas. It is just a step away from the cathedral and Ghotic District and is just 15 minutes away from the airport.

With a practical and functional style, this is a hotel that, because of its location, usually attracts visitors that want to 'touch', from their room, the colourful hubbub of this famous area.

It is just a short walk to the ocean and the Olympic Village, and only fifteen minutes from the airport.
